Hywel qualified at Guy’s Hospital, London in 1979. Following a period in general practice in North London, he spent 17 years heading a practice in the West End, developing a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and root canal treatments.

He began placing dental implants in 1992, gaining experience various systems. Hywel now concentrates on the planning and restorative aspect of implants, and has considerable experience in restoring the larger, more complex cases.

His interest in root canal treatments remains active, and he accepts referrals from other members of the practice.

In addition, Hywel provides general dental care for the whole family, and undertakes a wide range of treatments from aesthetic white fillings, dentures and tooth whitening to cosmetic smile makeovers using cutting edge all porcelain Zirconia crowns and bridges.

He is a member of The British Dental Association, the British Endodontic Society and the London Dental Study Club.
